I have stayed in a few dozen places through Booking and through other platforms, and I have never given a property a straight 10 out of 10, a few days after the stay. This hotel is ideally located in south Belfast, within 2-3 minutes drive off the M1 motorway, so very easy access up Lisburn Road. However, it is not ON said Lisburn Road, but a few houses set back so no traffic noise registered when we were there. It is still walkable to the city centre, which we did twice. The surroundings of the hotel are very much red-brick Victorian/Edwardian so visually very pleasing. Inside, the look is very much a period piece but with all the mod cons - we were pleasantly surprised by the wiring in the rooms, there being a power outlet at either side of the bed (not something you usually find in these older type places). Our check-in process was marked by a friendly conversation with Taylor, the young lady at the reception. She explained how the door worked after hours: all very state-of-the-art. In short, I would recommend the hotel to most anyone - the property is a grande dame of a certain age, but not a hair out of place.

First of all, the staff members Lyun and Monika were extremely helpful and friendly. They both made us feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location is quiet and peaceful, but only a short stroll to Lisburn Road and Malone Road, with good transport links and restaurants. It is approximately 12 minutes on foot to the splendid Botanic Gardens.Breakfast is £10 per person, but neither my wife nor I eat meat or dairy products. However, Lyun produced some non dairy milk for us, and we had cereal, toast, tea, fruit, and a non dairy bread roll and small cakes! They do eggs, any way you wish, and have a selection of meats. We had a wonderful stay here and intend to return when we next visit Belfast. Thank you so much for having us, and I would certainly recommend staying here.

We stayed in the huge Quadruple room which has a separate room with 2 singles, this is great for families as grown up can have their own space. Great location, literally minutes away from the Giant Causeway and ideally located between Portrush, Carrick o rede, DarK hedges and the coastal route. Breakfast on site was great before taking off and discover the area. Food in the restaurant was superb, the main course are big portions so no need for starters, unless super hungry.

A lovely alternative to the usual boring template of city hotels, great value for money, extremely friendly and helpful staff, warm comfortable rooms with comfortable beds, buffet breakfast that was both plentiful and delicious, quiet location only a 20 min walk to City Hall and the centre of the city and plenty of nice pubs and restaurants within a 10 min walk, 10 min walk to Botanic Gardens and Ulster museum, highly recommend staying here, we will definitely be returning.

I stayed at Gregory for 1 night. The hotel is well maintained and the staff were very cordial. I appreciate their support in helping me print few documents in their office. Also, post checkout, luggage room facility is provided for guests, if needed. The breakfast is also good. You need security code to enter hotel main door post 7pm which ensures safety of the guests. Booking cab from hotel was also done in 1 button click… cool !
